Plymouth, Minnesota Sewer Pipe Repair Services

At Marvel Sewer and Drain, we offer three type of trenchless sewer line repair to our Plymouth, Minnesota customer base. Our family-owned business wants to put your mind at ease regarding any upcoming repairs required for your residential or business building’s sewer line.

When customers first hear that the symptoms such as slow drains, a foul sewer odor inside the building, or a puddling of unclean water somewhere in their landscaping are caused by a clogged or broken pipe, they usually envision, with dismay, a torn up yard, a large work crew, and big machinery disrupting business flow or the household’s schedule. Let Marvel Sewer and Drain consult with you regarding our no-dig, no giant machinery, and no large workforce options of sewer pipe repair.

We begin by performing a sewer camera inspection to determine the location and cause of the symptoms you are experiencing. We use industry standard technology to determine both what is happening inside your pipeline and how to solve the problem is the most efficient and cost-effective way.

In most cases, the method of hydro jetting is most often employed. A high-pressure hose with a special water-jetting nozzle attached at the front is inserted into the pipeline. High-pressure water is jetted at the offending clog. This process can be repeated multiple times until the pipe interior is cleared, and this process is easily capable of removing clogs formed by tree roots invading the interior of your pipeline and creating a root ball, simple objects becoming snagged on corroding or pitted portions of the pipe, or a worn and cracked pipe allowing the surrounding soil to enter the pipe and create waste buildup. The sewer camera is then reinserted into the pipeline to confirm that the problem has been completely eliminated.

Once the clogs have been properly removed, the pipe will be repaired with innovative processes. Our team at Marvel Sewer and Drain frequently employs the use of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners to cover cracks and worn or pitted pipe interiors. CIPP liners are comprised of an inflatable bladder and an epoxy resin coated liner, both of which can be inserted into the broken pipeline. Once the camera confirms that the liner is in the correct location, the bladder inflates the liner, which causes the epoxy resin to be pressed against the interior circumference of the pipeline. The liner remains inflated for a few hours, allowing the resin to cure. Then the bladder and liner are removed and the camera inserted to confirm the creation of a smooth, impenetrable pipe inside the original pipe. The CIPP method can be completely performed within a few hours to a day. Multiple liners can be created in multiple sections of the pipeline if needed.

We also have pipe bursting in our arsenal of techniques to repair your pipeline in a trenchless manner. Pipe bursting employs the use of a torpedo-shaped heavy-duty head attached to the front of the replacement pipe. Instead of digging up the old pipe as in decades previous, the new pipe is dragged into the old pipe breaking its components into bits that are pushed into the surrounding soil. When the process is completed, the old pipe is gone, without any digging, and a new pipe of the same diameter, as well as current building standards, has become the replacement.

Please allow us to set your mind at ease with our fast, non-invasive, cost-effective methods of solving your pipeline issue. Contact us here to set up a consultation and learn more about how we can help you.
